Despite the ubiquity of before and after photographs on plastic surgery websites, using nude photographs of my patients as a marketing tool has never sat well with me. We respect you, your body, and your confidence, which is far more important to us than leveraging your nudity for our purposes.

Please see our patient testimonials and Google reviews to get a sense of who we are and what type of practice we have.

What I will do is share before and after photos during a consultation in the privacy of our office. We want you to choose the best plastic surgeon for your needs, and seeing results from previous patients is a big part of being able to do that. When you come in for a consultation, your personal anatomy, preferences, and goals will inform a discussion that leads to a surgical plan tailored to you as an individual. I am excited to share photos with you in this context, where they provide the most benefit.

If you would like to see more before and after photos, I recommend visiting the American Society of Plastic Surgeon’s website at this link.

We encourage our patients to bring in “wish” photos that represent results they like, however it is important to note that the most important photos to look for are not the “after” photos, but the “before” photos to make sure they are similar to you. This is the best way to align your expectations with realistic outcomes.

Dr. Eric Halvorson

Meet Dr. Halvorson

I grew up in Maplewood, NJ and went to Bates College in Maine. I attended Duke University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at Brown University where I was given the “outstanding chief resident” award. I then completed a plastic surgery residency at Lahey Clinic that included rotations at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Boston, and Maine Medical Center. Throughout my surgical training, my goal was to become the most comprehensive surgeon possible. To that end, I pursued a fellowship in microsurgery and breast reconstruction at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
