For women experiencing discomfort, pain, or self-consciousness due to overly large breasts, breast reduction surgery (mammaplasty) can provide relief and improved body balance. Dr. Eric Halvorson, a board-certified plastic surgeon, specializes in breast reduction procedures that create aesthetic balance, enhance mobility, and alleviate discomfort while preserving natural proportions.
Why Consider Breast Reduction Surgery?
Women with disproportionately large breasts may experience:
- Chronic neck, back, and shoulder pain due to excessive weight
- Grooving from bra straps causing discomfort and skin irritation
- Limitations in physical activity due to breast size
- Postural problems and skeletal strain leading to long-term health concerns
- Skin irritation or rashes beneath the breasts
- Emotional distress or self-consciousness regarding breast size
Breast reduction surgery helps restore comfort, mobility, and confidence, improving both physical and mental well-being.
